Introduction

Kongo Coffee Limited is one of Papua New Guinea's leading coffee companies.
It is the only successful nationally owned, managed and domiciled coffee growing, buying, processing
and exporting company in Papua New Guinea at the moment.
The Company has been in the coffee business for over nineteen (19) years, of which later 9-years as
a coffee exporter.

The road to success for us was not very easy, it was a constant struggle through many very hard and
impossible times.
These times have moulded us to put in place quality policies and systems that has enabled us to produce
high quality products and in return maximise prices to our growers who are our mainstay.
Hence, we have established a name for producing and reliably supplying very high quality coffee
consistently to our international buyers, ensuring our growers get the highest prices on the market.

Our Coffee

All our coffee is carefully hand picked, pulped, fermented, washed, dried, milled, graded and roasted to
perfection for your enjoyment.
We select only the best coffee beans to roast for you - using the most modern coffee roaster available
on the market and in Papua New Guinea.

Elimbari Specialty Coffee

Our Elimbari Coffee is now PNG's top quality specialty coffee and rates among the finest in the world.
It is 100% smallholder Simbu Coffee.
The coffee is produced by highly trained village coffee farmers.
Our producers have been receiving the highest premium prices in Papua New Guinea for many years now.
Our producers have a lot of pride in their product and are committed to producing the best only.
We have successfully produced and marketed PNG's first internationally recognized and accepted
SPECIALTY COFFEE in our ELIMBARI SPECIALTY COFFEE.

The Socially Responsible Coffee

Kongo Coffee brings Papua New Guinea's (PNG) first specialty coffee directly from growers to your cup.

From the pristine high altitudes of the remote Mt Elimbari in the Simbu province of PNG comes 100 per cent
Arabica coffee of the highest quality.

Our coffee meets all specific conditions of International Gourmet Coffee:

• Grown in sub-tropical environments at high altitudes (1500-2200m above sea level)
• Grown in high rainfall areas (approx 2000mm per annum)
• Grown under tree shade and inter-planted with other food crops
• Grown free of pesticides and fertilizers
• Grown in rich fertile soil
• Unblended, pure Arabica.
